Summer Felt Flower headband

So on my sisters blog, her and some other bloggers do a monthly thing where they have a theme, and you translate it what ever way you want too! So this Month I decided I wanted to be in on the fun! So as said in the title This months theme is Summer. When I thought about summer I thought of Bright colors, no school, flowers, etc. So I decided to make that bright flower ( I didn't know how to do no school...) So Here is my Bright felt flower headband tutorial:

You need:
* 5 circles that are the biggest you want your flower
*8 Circles about half the size of your biggest circles
*6 Circles just a little bit smaller than the medium circles
* hot glue
* Button or felt flower middle (Tutorial of that below)

First Take 2 of your largest circles overlap them and glue them together

Then take another circle and overlap and glue it to the other two circles. Try and angle the circles to make it look more like a flower.

Continue overlapping and gluing till all 5 circles are glued together
and the circles look like a flower.

Then using your medium sized circles glue and overlap (like you did the biggest circles) on top of the big circles.

It will Look like this when you have all of your medium circles glued on.
I ended up only using 7 circles on this one but depending on how you space it you might need more or less.

Then take your smallest  circles and repeat overlapping and gluing.
Again I didn't use all of the 6 circles on this layer I only used 5 circles.

Now you can embellish it with a cute button or here is a cute felt flower that would be cute for the middle also.

You cut a circle smaller than your largest circle, but larger than the medium circles.

Starting at one edge of the circle cut the circle into a spiral until it there is a small circle on the end of the spiral. You will use this to glue the whole flower together at the very end.

Starting at the tip without the circle start to twist the felt.
This will be the middle of the rose. Twist it until you get to the end of the felt and the circle.

Flip it over and you will see this. Put a dab of glue onto the spiraled area and push the circle over that
After you glue it together it should look like this from the back.

Flip the flower over and it will look like this as your end result.
Glue it into the middle of the petals trim the largest petals if needed and your done!
Now you can glue on a hair clip or you can glue it on to a headband like I did and Voila your done!
They are so cute! I love them and there WILL be more colors coming soon.... (:

Hope you enjoyed today's tutorial!
Stay tuned for another one sometime soon!
